Cedar Mountain International School (CMIS) was incorporated on Friday 27 January 2017, prior to the completion of the first phase of the purpose-built school facility. Consistent with the Christian values on which the School was founded, it was dedicated and opened/commissioned for operations on Saturday 19 August 2017. The School had its first admissions, five (5) children from two families in January 2018 and has been running since then. Effectively, the School commenced teaching and learning in January 2018.
We believe the elementary school years are the most formative of a child’s life. These early years can breed intellectual apathy or curiosity to seek knowledge.
Our target is to obtain 100% pass rate in the BECE exams in 2023 and IGCSE in 2025. Therefore, everything we do now and are doing now is with these expected outcomes in 2023 and 2025 in mind.
